6th Annual Lung Cancer Walk & Rally
Sponsored by Midwest Center for Advanced Imaging and 101.9 The Mix

November 1, 2008 at the Naperville Riverwalk

The walk benefits Lungevity, a 501c3 organization based in Chicago IL, dedicated to finding a cure for lung cancer. This year's walk raised, so far, over $50,000 for lung cancer research with online donations still being accepted.

Due to an overwhelming last minute rush of registrants we exceeded the amount of t-shirts ordered for the event.  More t-shirts will be ordered and may be picked up at Midwest Center for Advanced Imaging in Naperville (630) 236-8300.  Please contact MCAI if you did not receive a shirt.  MCAI is located in White Eagle on the southwest corner of Rt. 59 and Montgomery Road.

Every 30 seconds, somebody somewhere dies of lung cancer!

Let us walk together ...

We walk because lung cancer has touched us in some way ...

We walk because we hope to spread greater awareness about lung cancer  ...

We walk because we know that together, we will make a difference!

Please join us again next year in 2009!

The event was at the Naperville Riverwalk in Naperville, Illinois on Nov. 1st to kick off Lung Cancer Awareness Month.  People had an opportunity to explore various tables with lung cancer information.  A memory board reflected a tribute to our loved ones which brought us together on this day.

Thanks to our other great sponsors and volunteers!

ALL of the proceeds go directly to Lungevity, a non profit 501c3 organization dedicated to finding a cure for lung cancer. Please contact Nadine Roy at nadine@mcairadiology.com or call 630-236-8300 if you have any questions!

The more people who attend, the more we can see that lung cancer IS an important cause that lots of people DO care about!
