This walk is dedicated to those who are fighting lung cancer and the 150,000+ people who die every year of lung cancer.

Renee Kosiarek, founder of the walk, lost her beloved father in December of 2002 to lung cancer. After this loss, Renee organized the 1st Annual Lung Cancer Walk & Rally in Illinois. In addition to founding the Lung Cancer Walk & Rally, Renee has assisted in a couple of other walks nationwide. Renee continues her work in honor of her father, Robert J. Krawitz, as well as Michael Kosiarek's mother, Linda Kosiarek, and Renee's uncle, Arnie Krawitz. We love you and we will never forget you.
